One 8 Media Group was founded by Vincent Maiello, a life long management consultant whose professional career included tenures with NetApp, EMC Consulting, Chubb Computer Services, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Vin made a career out of helping the world’s largest and most successful companies bridge the IT/Business gap, dating back to the 1990’s when he helped design and implement the insurance industry’s first paperless processing system. He went on to help many Fortune 100 clients realize measurable gains through the strategic use of technology.

Faced with a terminal cancer diagnosis at the height of his career, Vin worked hard to stay alive, and productive, as he fought his disease, leaving the heavy demands of management consulting to focus on smaller, local Long Island companies where he could have a meaningful impact and work directly with small business owners, sharing the knowledge and strategies used by industry giants, scaled for Main Street businesses.

Today, Vin is cancer free 13 years after his 8-months-to-live prognosis, and grateful to have the opportunity to work with you.
